Walter Leclair
Born in Mortsel (Belgium), 1954

Studied Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp with Jef van Ruyssevelt. Obtained the first prize from the Province of Antwerp 1976.
Then worked as a cartoonist for a year. Performed illustration work for various monthly magazines. In 1986 he studied fine painting for a year with Maarten Boffé.



Exhibited for the first time in 1982 in brown cafe “De Muziekebox” in Antwerp.

In recent years, has focused exclusively on oil painting (fine painting).
Is also the creator of fairytale landscapes in Art Nouveau frames and polyptychs.
